The Data Manager is what differentiates BVxL from other Excel Add In reporting tools. The Data Manager enables you to:
1. Link tables in the data source to create a data environment
2. Select the fields you require for report building from the linked tables
3. Create new calculated fields
4. Rename field descriptions where appropriate to make them easier to understand
5. Create a new reporting DATAMART from the previous steps
The Data Manager can also:-
Consolidate data from multiple sources. If, for example, you have several different software applications the consolidation facility enables BVxL reporting software to see the data as if it were a single source.
Create new tables for grouping purposes and add these new tables back into the data container.
